July Blooms

Just wanted to share some pics of the pretties I have blooming in my yard right now. LOVE, love, love the black lilies - i just planted them this year so it's the first time I've been able to enjoy them.

It's too bad everything looks so poopy right now. But after a long, super rainy Spring, then a torturous hot streak, my plants are looking pretty pathetic! The lawn is even worse. AND I'm ashamed to admit that I have weeds taller than me in the bed in front of our house along the street. Completely.Utterly.Ashamed.

Oh well, hopefully the sun will stay out for the next couple of months and I can keep myself busy weeding and weeding.... and weeding....
